SpendView
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
SpendView runs entirely on your device. We do not collect,
transmit, or store any personal data on remote servers.
What stays on your device
Every piece of data you load into SpendView — bank
statements, transactions, categories, rules, backups — is
stored exclusively on your device, inside an encrypted
database. None of it ever leaves your phone unless you
explicitly choose to share or back it up yourself.
What we don't do
- No analytics. No tracking. No ad SDKs.
- No remote backend. No user accounts.
- No cloud sync controlled by us. Backups go to the
location you pick (Files, iCloud, AirDrop, email…).
The only network calls
The app initiates network traffic only in these cases:
- In-app purchases — handled by Apple
through StoreKit. Nothing reaches our infrastructure.
- Support emails — when you tap "Report
a bug" or "Contact support", your default mail client
opens with a pre-filled message. Sending it is your
choice.
Your control
You can erase every piece of data SpendView holds at any
moment from Settings → Erase all data. The
operation is instant, irreversible, and final.
